I would like to get a same size, but 4K monitor to match a decent 1080P monitor I have. It is completely overkill for the games that I play currently, but the price of it even compared to the 1060 I would have been satisfied with were just too close to ignore, the 1080 was MSRP for gosh sake! it changes the size and zoom of the font and page details. When dragging a file from screen to screen at different resolution, like on a webpage, productivity app, etc. I have always used monitors that were the same resolution and generally at or near the same size, not counting laptops. Size difference isnt too big a deal for me, Im going to be using a mount so I can adjust that a lil. It is important that I can work in Touch Designer with one wide panormaic render and have my image project into the three screens and have it all match up even though we have different resolutions.Īny help with setting this up would be greatly appreciated.I use two monitors for productivity. The stage display would be one large panoramic running the same image stretched across all three screens.
The centre widescreen would be on the second display output. We would like to run the side screens as well as the control screen at the same resolution (1024 x 768) using a Matrox triplehead-to-go connected to one output on the video card. The smaller side screens would be 4:3 format running 1024 x 768 (or perhaps 1280 x 1024 - depending on how well the Nvidia card can handle it). We would like to run the centre screen in widescreen format at a resolution of at 1920 X 1080. A 4th screen (personal monitor) will be running the control interface.
4:3 screens on each side and a 16:9 screen in the centre all matching in height. I am starting to work on a project where we would like to project to 3 screens onto a stage.
